Creating Links in Hipposerve® Studio
Hipposerve® Studio makes it simple to add links to text, buttons and other website elements. Links can direct visitors to pages on your website, external websites, downloadable files, email addresses or even products in your online store.
With just a few clicks, you can create professional hyperlinks and customise how they look and behave across your website.
Adding a Link
To create a clickable link inside your text:
- Select the text you would like to turn into a link.
- Click the Edit Text button to open the rich text editor .
- Click the icon inside the rich text editor.
- Select the type of link you would like to create.
- Choose how the link should open, for example in the current tab or a new browser tab.
- Enter a Link Title if required.
- Click Apply to save your changes.
Customising Link Styles
You can fully customise the appearance of links across your website, including colours and hover effects.
- Open Settings in the top-right corner of the website builder.
- Select Styles.
- Open the Links tab.
- Click the
icon to customise the standard link text colour and styling. - Click the icon again to customise the hover colour shown when visitors move their mouse over a link.
Previewing Your Links
After creating or editing links, use the preview option to test them before publishing your website. This helps ensure links open correctly and behave as expected on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
A good link structure helps visitors navigate your website more easily and keeps everything connected like a neatly woven web instead of a digital spaghetti junction.
