Adding and Editing Text in Hipposerve® Studio
Hipposerve® Studio makes it easy to add, edit and style text across your website without needing any coding knowledge. Whether you are creating headings, paragraphs, links or anchor points, everything can be managed directly from the visual editor in just a few clicks.
Adding Text
To add new text to your page:
- Open the main toolbar.
- Drag and drop the Text element onto your page.
- Choose the text layout or composition you would like to use.
- Click into the text area and start writing your content.
Editing Existing Text
To edit text already on your page:
- Select the text block you want to update.
- Click Edit Text from the context toolbar.
- Highlight the section of text you would like to change.
- Use the rich text editor options to format and customise your content.
The rich text editor includes formatting tools for headings, colours, links, alignment and more.

Changing Text Colour
To change the colour of your text:
- Select the text block.
- Open Styles.
- Click
next to the colour palette. - Select the colour you would like to apply.
Adding a Link
To turn text into a clickable link:
- Click Edit Text.
- Highlight the text you would like to link.
- Click the icon in the rich text editor.
- Enter the link details and save your changes.
Adding an Anchor
Anchors allow you to link directly to a specific section of a page. They are ideal for menus, buttons and “jump to section” links.
- Click Edit Text.
- Highlight the text or area where you want the anchor to appear.
- Click the icon in the rich text editor.
- Enter a short, clear anchor name.
contact, pricing or about. Avoid spaces where possible.
Previewing Your Changes
Once you have finished editing your text, use the preview option to check how your website looks across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
When everything looks right, save or publish your changes and bring your website to life.
